Feeding cats
Up to 12 weeks: Your kitten should have access to fresh food around the clock. During this food-forming period, you should offer your cat different flavors so that it doesn't become a picky eater later on.
From 12 weeks: 3-5 meals daily at fixed times.
When sexual maturity occurs (approx. 6-8 months): 2 meals daily at fixed times.
Please always remember to provide your pet with a clean and well-filled water bowl at all times!
First of all, dogs and cats love routine - so simply changing their food overnight is not a good idea. Your friend wants to slowly get used to the unfamiliar taste, smell and consistency. If the change happens too quickly, digestive problems can also result.
Dr. Karin Schlotterbeck recommends mixing the new food with the old one. First very little and then a little more from day to day. Your Dogs'n Tigers will be more likely to accept the news in the food bowl and their digestion will also have time to adjust to the new food.
After a week, your best friend should have accepted the Dogs'n Tiger food.
